Peeling garlic can be a time-consuming task, but fear not - I've tried (almost) every method out there and narrowed it down to the top 5 easiest ways to make this task a breeze!
Go in with your knife from the curved side, and cut the clove in half.
Pinch the loose peel and pull to remove.
Place the flat side of a chef's knife over a clove of garlic and press down.
Peel the crushed clove.
Put the separated garlic cloves in a jar and shake vigorously.
Most peels will come off in the jar. Separate the peeled cloves and repeat for the few remaining ones.
Spread out separated garlic cloves on a plate and microwave for 10 seconds.
Take the cloves out and let them cool for a few seconds. Peel with hands.
Take a good garlic press and press an unpeeled garlic clove with it.
Simple, eh?
